Blackpool Zoo trip
Wednesday 5th August 12pm
Why not come along and join us for a relaxed afternoon at the zoo? We'll be meeting at the zoo entrance at 12:00pm and spending the afternoon exploring together.
Please bring a packed lunch or picnic if you'd like one. You'll just need to purchase your own zoo ticket, along with anything else you'd like while you're there.
Everyone is welcome – we'd love to see you there!
Family Film Night- Wicked

Friday 7th August 6pm
Join us for a fun and relaxed family film night as we watch Wicked (PG)! This much-loved musical tells the untold story of the unlikely friendship between Elphaba and Glinda before they become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Bring your family and friends, settle in with some snacks, and enjoy a wonderful evening together. Everyone is welcome, so come along and enjoy great company, laughter, and a magical film. We look forward to seeing you there!
Mothers Union 150 Year Celebration at Blackburn CathedralSaturday 8th August 10-4pm
Join Blackburn Diocese Mothers’ Union at Blackburn Cathedral as they celebrate 150 years of faith, friendship and service. Discover more about the work of the Mothers’ Union locally, nationally and worldwide through a special exhibition showcasing their support for families and communities.
The celebration will include a special anniversary service from 2pm–3pm, led by the Bishop of Blackburn, giving thanks for the life and legacy of founder Mary Sumner. Open to all, everyone is welcome to join this special occasion of celebration and fellowship. Click here for more information!
Freedom Friends Coffee Morning

Come and join us for our special Freedom Friends Coffee Morning! Open to everyone, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy coffee, delicious cake, a raffle and friendly conversation in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a regular at Freedom Friends or visiting for the first time, we'd love to welcome you for a relaxed morning of friendship, laughter and getting to know one another. Family Bingo NightFriday 14th August 6pm
Join us for a fun-filled Family Bingo Night, with plenty of games, prizes and laughter for all ages. Whether you’re a bingo expert or just looking for a fun evening out with family and friends, everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed evening of entertainment and community.
Bring your family and friends, take part in the games, and enjoy a great night together. Tickets are £5 for adults and £1 for children, available from Martha’s Kitchen. Refreshments will also be available to purchase on the night, so come along, grab a drink and enjoy an evening of fun for all the family.
Beginners Bread Making Class
Monday 17th August 9am-lunch
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own homemade bread? Whether you've never baked before or you're just looking to brush up on the basics, this relaxed morning is the perfect place to start. We'll make bread together from scratch, enjoy a bowl of homemade soup for lunch, and spend some quiet time with God. All ingredients and equipment are provided – just bring yourself!
All ages are very welcome. Children are invited to join in too, but they will need a little help from a parent or carer during the session.
If you're planning to come, please let us know in advance so we know how many people to prepare for.
